Transfer, Inc. is an agency firm specializing in the sale
of PC environment software products around the world. We
work with reputable mainline software marketing, publishing,
and distribution companies in Europe and North America who
are looking for new and interesting software gaming products.
Nearly all are seeking products to license, translate, publish,
manufacture, and market software products in their respective
markets. We aid client companies to find, negotiate with,
and maintain service levels with appropriate and effective
international re-publishers.
Our
standard method of business is to sign a short term (180
days) sales agency agreement with a manufacturer for a geographic
region or regions (existing agreements a client may have
can be excluded from this exclusivity). As an authorized
agent we then promote the client's products to appropriate
distributors and publishers in the region. We do this by
phone, email and fax, and by frequent travel to major shows
and meetings with distributors and publishers. Through these
methods and through our personal contacts with key individuals
in the international publishing and distribution community,
we have a proven track record of success. We are confident
that there is no other firm in the world who can match our
level of professionalism, our experience and knowledge of
the international market and the important and reliable
overseas re-publishers, or our existing network of re-publishers
with whom we are currently doing business.
Our
particular expertise is in developing, negotiating, and
managing licensing relationships whereby the local republisher
can profitably translate and localize your product so it
has the potential for high volume sales in their local market.
Without a localized version of your product(s), only the
latest and greatest games, or very very inexpensive software,
will sell well in most markets. We are of the opinion that
in order to be successful in the major international markets
of the world, one must have relationship with local re-publishers
and often have them produce localized products. At the very
least, we need to have local companies pushing our products
through local PR, advertising and sales.
As
our client, we will provide you with our knowledge and experience
in international business, international finance, cross
cultural negotiating techniques, and the international distribution,
publishing, and retail trades. We also provide you with:
- Immediate access to our database of customers and contacts
around the world;
- Use of our standard legal agreements for licensing and
distribution;
- Participation in the international shows which we both
attend and have booths
Our
revenue comes from commissions on revenues received by our
client from "Approved Customers." From time to
time we will also ask you to agree to pay for your share
of expenses we incur in promoting your products at shows
and events, but any and all expenses are pre-approved by
you.
We
are currently selling to, or have active licensing contracts
with, more than 80 important and successful republishers
and distributors in more than 25 countries around the world.

Although
we can not possibly guarantee the success of your products,
we can guarantee that we can get your product in front of
the individuals and companies that can make a difference
for your product in the major markets of the world. After
that, of course, we will do our due diligence in terms of
follow-up with prospects, but the quality of the products,
their suitability to particular markets, your flexibility
in dealing with foreign markets, and the ease with which
they can be localized will be the significant factors that
will determine both the short term and long term success
of your line in international markets. We have the established
pipeline, and only need high quality, localizable products
to pour into this pipeline.
